To S or not to S
Looking at a 2014 Non S vs an S model and aside from 27hp and 59lbft of torque difference and limited slip is there anything else that makes the price difference of $8k worth it? Just wanted to get you guys's thoughts on this.

Either S or non S I'm good with I guess because I can easily swap my downpipes, UPD spacers, vrp intake pipes, real carbon mirror caps, carbon wing and rims. But other than the limited slip I can't see what else is there. The power will be fixed with a tune and the tcu tune seems to be a total game changer now. UUGGGGHHHHH decisions decisions.

I agree that the power is not a big difference. Someone posted the order guide in another thread - it was helpful for showing all of the differences. Whether those differences are worth $8k to you is personal opinion. I like the little touches - the symbol on the headrest, the lighted door sill, etc.

If this is going to be a mule for bolt-ons then the extra S enhancements probably won’t mean a thing - put those thousands into the drivetrain and go embarrass some Ferrari’s. But if resale and prestige are a factor and you have umpteen $$ then it might be worth it - as another poster noted, that’s going to come down to your own personal preference.
Speaking of Ferrari, tried to goad one into a little race the other day and he wouldn’t take. What’s the point of 700hp if you don’t use it every now and again??!!

Uh they’re probably amazing. But my muffin tops are already flapping in the breeze and it’s bikini season, need to steer clear of anything not green for a while.

My biggest driver was getting the color I wanted in Iridium Silver. Never saw an S in that color when shopping, so I got the base and tuned the motor and tcu.
Love the car.
