Alarm System...2016 E63S AMG
Owners manual and build sheet show that my wagon should have the alarm system, but I don't think it does. I see no indicator light on dash and have certainly never heard the alarm. Was the alarm system a delete on AMG's?

The alarm is activated when the car is locked
leave your windows down, lock the door and then open the door from the inside to activate the alarm
or hit the panic alarm on the keyfob

Thank you, sir! I DO have an alarm system. The dash light... I have none...Should it just flash momentarily when armed or then stay on or blink continually? Also...no panic button on key fob. This car is a Canadian import.

Thank you, sir! I DO have an alarm system. The dash light... I have none...Should it just flash momentarily when armed or then stay on or blink continually? Also...no panic button on key fob. This car is a Canadian import.

Well....I do have a key fob panic button. We've been using my wife's key that has a protective cover that hides the "panic" symbol. I do not, however, have an alarm button in the console, only the 2 USB ports? Should I get a momentary flash on the dash light (next to the "Passenger air bags not activated' light), when the wagon is locked? I can see where the light is located, it just never lights. I can certainly live without the light...it's just that it's the only thing on this car that doesn't seem to work(famous last words).
