couldnt be happier with the purchase.
finally had a chance to put 100 miles on her yesterday and get a wash this morning. needed new front pads (which I will replace this week) and cleaning of the grime off the alcantara steering wheel but otherwise its just about in perfect condition.
i cant believe how well the paint and interior were preserved despite being a higher mileage (90,000+) car! i usually get car ADD and hop around often but this one feels like it will be a keeper for a while alongside its audi buddy in the garage

Nice looking car....Make sure you catch up with all the maintenance starting with an oil change, fluids like brake, differential, transmission, coolant and plugs Don't forget the filters, transmission and motor mounts
Happy motoring.
thanks guys. really been a joy so far.
i'm itching to install my stage 1 tune tomorrow when i get the file back from EC but I think im going to try to resist the urge and drive it stock for a while. we'll see

I say skip the tune for a while. There is enough power to be giddy w/o it.
Once you are feel the car to be "slow", start tuning...

get the TCU tune first, then get the ECU 93 or Ethanol Tune when you are craving more power. TCU tune will help protect the transmission, recommended before(or with)ECU tune.
thanks everyone for the kind words. i love the color as well, its super shiny and metallic.... makes my brilliant red r8 look dull next to it
i couldnt help myself and put the EC stage 1 tune on yesterday. the car went from fast to now comically fast
Which EC did you go with for the stage 1 tune? Was it noticeably faster at all RPM? Did you get a minor burble tune with it too? Also, did you get the handheld tune and how much did everything cost if you don't mind me asking? I was also looking at their tunes and Renntech's Handheld tune and pricing.
i got a standard 93 octane stage 1 tune. i specifically did not want the burbles (doesnt feel appropriate for this adult car, lets not get into a debate over it). they were nice enough to add a couple customizations for me (removed the park/neutral rev limiter and top speed limiter). i purchased the handheld device as well so i could flash myself at home whenever i want. the process was very smooth (just pay attention to all the instructions). feel free to contact sales @ectuning.com and I'm sure they will offer whatever sale they have going on but I got an unbelievable deal that was too good to pass up.
changed front and rear brake pads this weekend. it was cold as hell in the driveway and the old pads still had some life left on them but peace of mind
