Most states will not enforce laws relating to titles, inspections etc due to covid btw. I suppose it depends on your dmv ability to see customers though.

I was able to get it successfully registered.
I used to fly out and drive back cars with no plates all the time, even across the whole country lol.
I was having a talk with a police officer friend, and he told me that I shouldn't do that, cuz in some places it's considered a felony.
I had no idea, so I guess it's just not worth the risk.
On another note, I have to laugh since this literally always happens. Right after I bought this one, another one went for sale a lot closer to me with only 2,000 mi on it .
And I thought 11K was hard to believe, I can't believe there's a 2014 with only 2,000 mi on it out there. Anyway, my best friend just bought it! We will be cruising around together with the two lowest mile w-212 lol
Having a blast driving around (now that its registered lol)
My first few draggy runs are showing 3.7s 0-60 and 11.84@119.7.
On another note, My friend flew out an drove back his e63s. His makes mine look old lol
These might be the 2 lowest miles w212 e63s in the country! Mines 11,210 and his is 2195
They will be driven now

Kenny, how has the ride been with H&R Springs and links out back?
Thinking about picking up a set and doing it next month.
To be honest, I think it rides great. I was curious about this as well, before I did it I read a bunch of posts where people were saying they were too stiff or people took them off to put on different springs etc. I have not found the ride to be stiff or rough at all.
Taking the consideration the roads are fairly good here in Florida.
My main complaint is that it is too low. Don't get me wrong, every sports car I have had I've lowered. I love the look of a properly, performance-minded stance.
H&r claims a three-quarter inch drop, it's dang near 2" similar to what most other Members here have reported.
I'm currently looking into using the strut bearing for a b00 optioned car (which is Mercedes rough road country option) I have a hunch that this will add a slight height to the front. I'll report back if this case
Here is a picture of a stock CTS V3, my car, and my friends completely stock 2,000 mi car

Got it, the roads here in California aren't that good, and i've heard of people bottoming out on these springs.

What about alignment and can that be done at a MBZ dealership or a special shop?
I do my own alignments. But really there are not a lot of adjustments available up front in the Mercedes. Unless you but the kmac bushing like I had in my e55, or crash bolts,... There is basically just toe only. Any one can do that

I might just say forget it and get the KW HAS kit.
KW HAS will bottom out as well. I have felt the bump stops in mine. Now, to be fair, I did purposely let my car run over this "highway blemish" at speeds where I would have normally applied the brakes to slow the car down some before hitting said road imperfection. This was shortly after the kit install and just wanted to see how it would handle. Other than that, I think it feels pretty stockish. I have the front adjusted to where there are just a couple of threads left in the sleeve. Looks about the same as OP's ride height. YMMV, of course.

I have the KW. We'll have to compare once I have my car down there.

Two thumbs up for KW HAS. I installed it to replace H&R's and what a difference!
Never bottomed out driving on a "perfect" LA roads, as my front bumper will hit the pavement way before

Looking at your ride height, your car looks slightly lower than mine. So you swapped out the h&r for the kw just for ride?
The consideration for bottoming out is something I've never even thought of here. You're saying the KW's are stiffer so that they won't bottom out? Yet they ride better? Just trying to clarify some things out of curiosity thanks
I swapped H&R for KW because of a bumpy, jittery ride. KW is way smoother if that makes sense.
Personally I was never concerned about bottoming out, just a ride quality.
