Engine is shipped out on the way to me now. We did have a small delay due to back order on some parts from suppliers but should be of concern. Quality control and parts used are top notch . Thomas is great to deal with.. as I haven’t installed the motor and started it yet. I’m confident in the work as they have built many m157 as can be seen on YouTube etc. For closer look a2d_autoworks ig. You can scroll and search
Hello to all forum members and especially to Efrain, and Justin both who of them got for their cars the the best possible engine upgrade that is possible for the M157 motors. We had a bit of a delay, but nevertheless happy that we finished both projects and finally landed in USA. One more M157 engine upgrade is in the making right now and will be shipped to Canada and tuned by Slav from Eurocharged Canada.
I will do an individual post on this forum here regarding engine internal parts, just so to explain the difference and why we are using IRP and not other manufacturers.
Im sharing here a video, the guys from Subi Performance in Germany went to their factory in South Italy to have a look on the facility and explain the difference on engine internal parts. Video is in German / English.
1) 100% forging made in Italy and only the highest grades are being used
2) 100% quality control on each connecting rod and piston that is being sold and shipped out
3) special galvanic treatment for the pistons
4) special hardening process for the connecting rods

The guys at subi performance are great! Their engine building experience and knowledge is really top of the line in the industry.
Yeah they are great I met them 2 years ago in Germany at an exhibition and im very happy to see more and more high end engine building companies recognizing the strenght of material and quality of IRP with whom we are working since 5 years together from their baby steps.
