Transmission
Has anyone had a similar experience?
2014 E63S Wagon 33K miles. When in sport or sport plus and coming to a stop the transmission will downshift to second instead of first. Happens perhaps two out of every five stops +/-. Everything else works fine. The dealer reflashed both the transmission and engine ECU and it worked fine for a week or so then back to old habits. Extended warranty expires early April so would like a permanent fix. If nothing else, it will go back to the dealer before then. Ideas?
