Afternoon all. Just seeing if any places in the uk do the gearbox remap for the w212 gearboxes?

 

I’ve literally just had mine done by MSL today, I think I’m the possibly the first in the uk. Have a look at the topic I posted, seems to have made a difference abs it isn’t fully adapted yet

 

How is your remap? Was it a specific TCU remap by MSL?

 

It was the same one as some of the guys in the US are using, They sent it across and then I had it put onto my car. The shifts are quicker and I think the car is smoother in C than it was, When you are fully on it the car shifts noticeably quicker, even from the sound that's made on a shift you can tell. It seems like the gearbox is more intelligent when its in S and S+ and will hold a gear for longer or shift up earlier when you aren't pressing as hard, It's hard to explain but its like the refresh time has been sped up so the gearbox is checking it is doing the right thing more often if that makes sense.

 

Sounds good. What should I ask for at MSL if I want to get this?
