Is it normal to change coils more often when tuned?

Is it normal to change coils more often when tuned?

Either my coils are slowly going bad because of my car having 70k miles but I’m going through coils all the time, my car is tuned and DP.

Absolutely coils every 20-30k miles when tuned

definitely a weak spot on the m157

dude just buy your coils from FCP euro and they will lifetime warranty replace them... thats what i did and I'll never be paying again for coils. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...eru-2769060501

they sell the same OEM Beru coil that you get from the MB dealer (Beru is OEM) for $125 bucks because it has the MB star on it. I have these Beru coils and will just return them for new as soon as I get any misfires.
