Aux. battery warning comes and goes
Twice in the past two months I've seen the Auxiliary Battery Malfunction warning on the dash. It goes away for weeks and does not appear in the Service/Messages menu.
Tried to replace it anyway at Advance Auto today and was run around to two different stores, yet neither could find it in stock even though their own computers said they had several. NTB said $220 just for the battery. ($389 installed... ridiculous for a five minute job.)
Volt meter says it's putting out 12 volts (didn't check amps). I rarely use Eco mode (only in drive-thrus). This battery supposedly powers the start/stops when in Eco mode.
