E63 Engine Rebuild
Last week, my 2011 E63 (60k miles) suddenly started having misfires and white smoke coming out the exhaust. I first tried to restart it a couple of times and the shaking didn’t go away, actually got worse. I pulled it over and after 5 minutes it wouldn’t start anymore. When I got it towed to my mechanic, we got it to start one more time and gas sprayed out the back. Mechanic thinks it may have flooded from the several attempted starts. He took out the injectors and was trying trying to do compression test and said that he couldn’t actually get the car to start anymore, the crank would stop after ~20 degree rotation. He thinks it’s a bent rod in the 8th cylinder and the engine needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
Any suggestions for what to do? Is rebuild feasible and any suggestions of a shop in California.
Thanks in advance

Looks like stuck injectors that hydrolocked the engine. Not uncommon on the M156.
One way to go about is to remove all spark plugs, turn the engine manually then by key.
Search for M156 + stuck injector you'll find plenty of threads / experiences.
Good luck
