Morning All (at least here on the East Coast of the US),
I found, and negotiated a purchase of, a 2011 E63 with 21,800 original miles. Oil changed once a year regardless of mileage or every 2500mi. Knowing what the community now knows about the M156 engine, how would you recommend future proofing basically a 'new' engine? Meaning, what would be your thoughts on going ahead and pulling the valve covers and replacing the tappets with the SLS Black options, replace the valve adjuster lockplates with units from 63 motorsports, injectors, etc. so that I minimize the chance of the common issues 10 years from now? Or is it a just a matter of time no matter what? I'm ok with either, just weighing options now.
As always, thanks!

Super clean find, silver always looks so sharp! I wouldn't worry too much about future proofing it and just enjoy it, that car has a long life before you have to worry about replacing any internals. Just make sure you have the updated head bolts and change the oil regularly and replace the injectors every 40k miles.
Throw some LTH's and a tune from @hachiroku @eightysixtuned and let that thing rip.
