values are crazy right now
i'm sure many of you follow Bring A Trailer, due to chip shortage and availability, values seems to be going through the roof right now. Wagons are insane right now - just throwing it out there (glad mine is tucked away in the garage)

Maybe one day - the new ones do look great in matte. I thougth about trading in a few times. I still have extended factory warranyt on mine so now's the time to make a move but my problem is I JUST LOVE THIS CAR TO DEATH!!!

My 2014 E63s Wagen has 41K miles and I am pretty happy and content with it. These really are great cars and glad we bought them at the right time

The thing is that all used car values are crazy right now. So - if you sell this, you have to replace it with something else that has an inflated price as well.
The big problem is the chip shortage for new cars. Chip shortage is expected to last through at least 2025, so, if anything, values will continue to rise as used cars (and new cars) become more scarce.

totally get the chip shortage - i have a '22 GMC 2500 arriving tomorrow (adding bits now - whels/tires, lift, paint work, tuning to 1100/tq) and its crazy that i see 2 year old low mileage trucks selling for almost the same as new. I was fortunate to pay sticker - not $10K over like alot of other dealerships.
Even crazier is the dealership in San Diego where i bought my '14 from 4 years ago has a '14 w/72K miles on it for 70K - which is insane - mine has 34K miles on it and is done - show and go. I am just sharing - i do love my wagon, but i also just moved to UT (for work) and the wagon and C63 will be on the charger all winter as it is way to low to drive with any bit of snow on the ground.
maybe i will enjoy one more spring/summer -
