Market Value
Hey. Looking like I may need to sell my wagon. Need greater clearance for backroads. For those of you having purchased recently, looking for some input on real current transaction prices.Getting car to exceptional condition would require a front bumper respray. Otherwise very very clean. 53,000 miles. Attached is the original sticker. Any guidance would be appreciated.

If you need to sell it, then time becomes a factor. If you have the time, Bring a Trailer will bring good value for the car. I have not verified this, but they apparently have a backlog of cars waiting to be put up, so you would not be able to sell quickly through them. That is most likely the place to get top dollar for the car though.

Nah, not in a hurry. Can even own both through a swap.May be my wife will even get used to me owning both :-) I was just trying to do the math as to what value could accept on a trade in (to save on taxes) versus maximizing the sale price on the E63 in a private sale. Thank you all for input

Nah, no full distronic, not that that was important to me, but I understand for others might be the case

Example, mine has the 5,000 plus dollar B&O stereo as well, but no 360 camera. Like what, they couldn't spring an extra couple hundred bucks On $115,000 car lol?

No I understand, I love distronic. I'm just always fascinated when these cars come with some crazy options but then they're missing others.

i'm in the same boat bought a big diesel truck for daily and kind of looking for something new/fun, but when i walk into the garage the wagon just looks so pretty - and the values are stupid right now. the BaT figures are ridiculous but you do have a pay a 5% to them after close.

Correct - my bad on that - here are fees from BaT
- Sellers pay a $99 listing fee, with the option to add our Plus photo service for an additional $250. There are no other seller fees on BaT.
- Buyers pay a 5% fee on top of the final sale price to BaT, with a minimum of $250, and capped at $5,000.
- whiteglove@bringatrailer.com for pricing of our White Glove Service.

I have to admit that I am having a really tough time with this. I LOVE this car. Trying to figure how can just hang on to it and get something that just meets needed off road needs. If only I had another garage spot :-)

I hear you on that! I am in the same boat, but E63 isn't going anywhere for me. So I'm just lusting after some of these off-roaders for now. Toying with the idea of finding cheap land and building a warehouse. Could theoretically turn that into a business by charging others with similar space issues to store their cars there. It wouldn't really be a money maker, per se, but more of an opportunity to be able to buy the extra cars/trucks/etc. I want.
What off roader are you thinking about getting?

Ha, Id love a big garage! I simply cant bring myself to part ways. Now I am talking with mechanic about getting older Cayenne (locking diff) and doing a light Safari style mod. Should be good enough for me! And, I keep the E63.
