No help needed, just for info on the behavior of the stock engine temps on high and low speed autobahn driving.
Interesting to see the wide coolant temp. band of the engine.

Being a great distance from my home to extended family, I take 10+hour drives a few times per year. The E63 has done well on these trips to this point. I haven't measured as you have, via the app, but my temps in the gauge cluster have remained within "normal" operating specs the entire time. One interesting thing I've noticed is that it takes a very long time to get up to operating temp when starting from cold in the morning and getting right on the highway.

My 2015 C63 got up to temp (both oil and coolant) quickly, but the E63 takes a long time to get up to temp in the morning. I get on a highway just over a mile from home.
In the winter, the oil temps sit just in the 'blue' when cruising often.
MB says this is normal. I find it odd that the oil temps in the winter will not get up to an operating temp when cruising on the highway. My friends 14 E63 is the same way.
I guess it means I live in too cold a climate.

As mentioned this is my experience along. My friend with the same car has the same experience hovering just on the cusp of the blue/white zone.
Talking to our local dealership, this is not uncommon with the E63 on the highway in the sub zero temps.
I am surprised, as my C63 did NOT have this issue, nor any of my other vehicles in the winter.
I even test drove a 'new' e63 years ago and saw the same thing in the same conditions.
Under load the oil temps rise out of the 'blue zone', but when back at steady state cruising the oil temps drift down to 'cold'.
I suspect that a thermostat in the oil cooler lines could address this issue.
