Advice on preventative maintenance
So the motor is going to be coming out of the car due to the fact that the turbo seal is leaking. So is there anything that you guys would recommend me doing while the motor is out? Thanks in advance.

I would look at anything rubber, hard to reach coolant lines, fuel lines, etc. What were your symptoms in identifying the turbo leak? Just an oil drip?

With the engine out, there's a hell of alot you can do. The real question is how crazy do you want to go?
If I were pulling the motor out, I'd reseal the oil pans, replace the waterpump, turbo coolant lines, replace the oil feed orings (or lines), thermostat, chain tensioners, cam sensors, reseal the valve covers, replace the cps, rear main seal, inspect the timing chain guides and possibly replace, inspect and possibly reseal the front cover, and exhaust manifold gaskets. Also an awesome time to upgrade your turbo inlet pipes for a bov and/or meth.

oil thermostat cap gasket, coolant feedline plastic housing on the back of the left cylinder head, also id check yur alternator brushes.
