Is anyone aware if this silver-chrome trim ring piece is replaceable, as a separate part? It’s started lifting/peeling on my 2016. Looking through the parts diagrams, I only see the part number for listed for the left side moulding (entire carbon fiber trim piece, which I assume includes this piece).
it’s kind of looking like the silver piece is part of the carbon fiber, and the whole part needs to be replaced. Kind of a bummer to replace the whole thing ($1,000 part), when it’s just the small silver part of the trim. I’m going to pull it and take a further look. Keeping an eye on E-bay. See a few, but not CF.
Pry open the side lid. Open the drivers door and take the lid off.
Check utube for installation of the Android monitor. The first thing you do is to take off the dash trim. I remember one video showed the backside, explaining the mounting tabs.
I'm sure those vents are the same, left and right.
