Want to test drive one just so I know what Im missing out on, or if I'm not missing out on anything. Just to get it out of my head.
Yes tuned with a mestershacft exhaust. Might do res delete soon and down pipe as well.

That's crazy I was actually apart of an E39 M5 owners group here in the Bay Area with over 70 members and I don't recall anybody talking about a blown up S62 motor and some were the original owners!

My friends E39 M5 has nearly 300,000 miles on as its his DD and he has a pretty long commute. Never had a major issue....heads never been off. One owner full service history......he owns a car repair garage so it gets treated well.

Yep. I should have been smarter on my purchase. I trusted the brand too much and didn't get a PPI.... expensive mistake I won't make again. LOL

I am lucky and have been friends with Clemster for quite some time, so he helped minimize my loss.

Had 230k on mine when I sold it never had any major issues myself.

I wish I kept it.
