Exhaust help!

Hi! I recently purchased a 2014 E63s sedan in Canada, and I am trying to figure out what to do to the exhaust? I was originally thinking of getting a resonator delete replaced with straight pipes, but I want something more aggressive like how the W204 C63 sounds after a secondary cat delete. I’ve seen some videos with the W212 E63’s having their secondary cats removed, but i’m unsure how the car will sound. I would prefer to keep the muffler on to minimize cabin drone and rasp from the exhaust. All advice and replies will be greatly appreciated, please help me out!

I’m looking to stay stock and simply remove/play around with the cats mufflers & resonators.

The W212 E63 doesnt have secondary cats; it has cats, the resonator, and then mufflers. Removing the resonator and replacing it with straight/H/or X pipe will make it louder but mostly just under harder accelerations while sounding nearly stock at idle and normal acceleration. Cat delete will increase the volume and turbo whistle at all engine speeds, but this of course may affect emissions. Im not sure how much going withy high-flow cats affects the sound as Ive not gone that route.

Emissions aren’t a issue where i’m from, i’m just trying to get that deep AMG growl with some bangs when up and down shifting. Cat delete might be my best bet as I really want it to sound like a W204 C63 secondary cat delete. I can’t find any videos though, that is the issue.

Problem is you are comparing the biturbo M157 in your W212 E63 to the naturally aspirated M156 in the W204 C63; a turbo car isnt going to sound the same as one with a NA engine.

Yeah your right lol, I don’t expect them to sound the same but maybe if I could figure out something that would be close enough, it’ll be perfect.

Here's mine with no cats and no resonators, muffler still intact.
