2013 e63 atf level check temp?
I have a 2013 e63 and I want to check the fluid level but when I look it up on wis it says it there are 3 options to check, ones are 35°c ones 45°c and ones 90°c. How do I know which one is mine? I started my car after being parked for hours and put it on the lift and it’s already at 65°c and is going down extremely slow.

Level check procedure
I think it depends on vehicle type. I have attached the procedure for a 722.9X transmission. The different temps and procedures are for cars with/without coolers, whether you emptied the cooler or not, etc. I have a W216 and I check at 45C/113F. I have done it twice, once after a filter change and once just to be sure before a trip. Best of luck.

Not sure there. I know that my CL has an auxiliary oil cooler in the front just as a performance enhancement. I would imagine any M157 engine does but cannot confirm. I think the point of the level check procedure is that, if one were to remove the oil cooler, there would be a different process in order to ensure it is properly filled. There is a thermostat controlling oil flow to the cooler, I think that is why you see the higher temps recommended. This would get the thermostat opened, oil completely circulated and then one could check for the proper level.

It is 45c/113F, the other temp is just to open the coolant thermostat to ensure it has been filled with oil after replacement. Procedure 12 specifically states Model 212 and 13.2 is the temperature recommendation.
