Well my quick trip to pick up a new playfield for an older pinball machine ended up with a long tow truck ride. Basically from Pittsburg to Baltimore:/ 787 dollars later..
Hit the deer at about 50-60, from 80(?) hit brakes and all and swerved but the deer kinda just was stuck like a deer in the headlights Damage not too bad but did get the radiator, hood, grill, carbon mirror (full assembly), drivers glass from the mirror damaging the window, and a front bumper (which seems ok but scratches) and some trim, headlight
15k? I’m thinking.
so any damage that could occur from losing fluids? I shut down within a minute and while pulling off the road. Should I have just run it to overheat….to end her life due to the ordeal that may unfold?
Deer did not make it. Almost avoided it and hit it in the rear and it literally launched right over the car over the center divider and into oncoming traffic….
