Square 19x10?

As the title states - I want to try and get square 19x10s on my S212. I know there are some tricks with getting larger wheels on the new S550 mustangs up front, where you can put a camber plate on the top, and max camber out on the adjustment bolt and compensate with the camber plate, but unsure if there's a way to get 19x10s on the S212. Primary reason for this is this is my daily, in the last year i've put 35,000 miles on it, and i plan to put another 35000 on this year. Looking to be able to rotate tires and get a bit more use out of my daily tires, and save my staggered for track days/drag days.

Anyone have any success getting a 10 inch to fit up front? I don't want to drop down to 19x9s if i can avoid it.

What you are suggesting with your Mustang example is to increase negative camber in order to "wedge in" a wider wheel into a space otherwise designed to house a "narrower wheel". It works, in terms of fitting this new/wider wheel, but then you'd be dealing with other issues. Now your contact patch up front would change. As you increase negative camber you will increase the loss of contact between the floor and the outer portion of said tire. Depending on ride height, you might end up with a pretty "cambered out" stance; where the front wheels would look pitched in at the top (like most drift S14s) more than the rear ones.
As for our platform. One pic is worth a thousand words:

That looks perfect, and thanks for the info - i am a bit of an idiot as far as tires and fitment is concerned. How was it you were able to get those to fit without any rubbing (and from what i can tell from the thread you're also lowered). I assume its offset and spacers? Again... very green as far as wheel fitment goes, so if i sound like an idiot - its because i am... 🙃

That's not my car. I just recalled having seen that thread and even though he was (I am pretty certain he has since gotten new shoes) on 20s the data would apply to you. Another member said it best "Even if it is by 1mm, if it cleared ... it cleared!" All these factors need to work in perfect harmony. Wheel diameter, width, offset, tire brand, model, width and aspect ratio. I am not gonna go into wheel style as that just adds more complexity to the matter, lol! It is very hard to end at the "perfect set of specs". In many cases it takes a lot of trial and error (and a good bit of cash). Best we can do is to do our research and learn from other member's set ups.
