14 e63 needs a new transmission
Latest saga in the e63 money pit. Upon the dealer trying to reset my p0420 they say a vibration in the driveshaft is causing them not to be able to perform drive cycles. Keep in mind this is 3rd time at service center and no mention of this even after road tests.
basically they say my transfer case needs to be replaced but they don’t sell it separately and need to replace the whole transmission. I took it a separate Indy they recommended the same thing.
has anyone rebuilt or purchased a used tranny online?
see video below

Maybe I spoke to soon, but being at the dealer 3x for the same thing, and still not being able to fix it, sure why not? Plus a p0420 code is a o2 sensor code, what does a transmission vibration have anything to do with exhaust gases/reading?

OP, did you buy new or was this a used purchase? Who knows how it was ragged out/cared for IF it was a second hand car?

Did you feel any vibrations prior to getting the P code?? That vibration looks ... significant
