Hey guys, I have a cls63s new to me I did catless downpipes res delete and tune. I have bought the ngk 1555 step colder spark plugs. Do you guys run these on your m157 amgs. Can anyone give me any Information. I read they need to be indexed like the oem?? Is that correct. I am new to this platform and I hope I am making some sense about them..
Who are you tuned by? Usually you should go by what your tuner recommends.
But the majority of this forum and M157 tuned guys I know, we run OEM Mercedes plugs, some gap them a tad, other keep stock gap.
I know a few guys who run the 1555 plugs without issue, most just come back to the stock oem as there isnt much sense in changing up.
Of the 1000's of datalog i have done of M157 cars, I have never seen a need for stock turbo car to go to a colder plug or experiment otherwise in my opinion.
