Hey everyone,

my car came missing the little front lip that goes in the middle bottom part of the bumper. I just got mine and although no tabs are broken and everything is in new condition I can’t seem to get the lip to clip into the bumper. It slides in but never actually “clicks” and locks into place. Am I missing something here? Do I need to take the bumper off? No matter how hard I push it never clips in. I push in one side and it just pulls the other side out. Please help!

 

Are the 20 or so tabs in tact? Can you flash some light in the slot where those tabs insert to see if any are broken? Perhaps when the previous one was damaged or removed

 

Thanks for the response! Yes all tabs are good on the bumper and on the molding. It seems like the bumper may have to come off to clip it in correctly. I’ve seen videos of guys installing the Suvneer Carbon lip and they have to take the bumper off to get this piece unclipped, but I’m not 100% sure

 

its pretty tricky with out being able to access the back... the tabs tend to flex back rather then clip.

 

Could have used the bumper plugs, not sure about the color match though
