Considering Tuned e63s wagon
I think this dealership is concerned if rates keep going up they’ll be sitting on a lot of stock nobody can finance. They have insane 1,2,300k cars all over the place. They are slashing prices on all kinds of cool stuff. Also had an rs6 that they lowered by 7k at around the same time.
edit: I will also add that these are pretty rare cars up here. People might not even know to look for them. I read car magazines and watch YouTube reviews obsessively and I think I’ve maybe seen 2 of these in my life. One of which was probably it guy’s in the gta (haha).
car goes in for ppi tomorrow or the next day. Apparently they were able to get it in.
will update with the findings.

Requested under carriage pictures again and again and they kept coming up with excuses until I requested and paid a mobile inspector to get me the pictures and sure enough, the vehicle had lots of rust, can you believe it.
Of course I passed on the vehicle and I do agree with Peter, price is on the lower side why?
Have you ran the Carfax yet?
Have you asked the sales person, where they got the vehicle at ?
regards to OP - car looks solid - just needs to be lowered a bit and some new shoes to really kick it out - i love my white wagon - my int is the tan which i love!!!
GL with potential purchase if there are no hidden monsters in that one

Only unusual things on Carfax are that it’sa Quebec car and that there appear to be three new owner registrations one after another in short succession in 2022. I had assumed these were dealerships trading the car for others, but I don’t know.
Historically There are a bunch of one year services performed at Mercedes Gatineau, which has originally sold the car. There are small gaps of a few thousand km per year between annual services.
the dealership said the guy who owned it used to work at a Mercedes dealership so I assume that’s the one.
i notice online some people sell a mileage tracker stopper. Was wondering if that may have been applied but the interior does look absolutely mint (virtually no wear to bolsters or rest of interior) so I assume it’s true. .

I know what you mean about the drive making you want to keep it. My daily is a 2021 miata rf and from time to time I get the itch to sell it and buy something new. But a half hour drive in the miata on twisty roads around my town changes my mind. I’m always left thinking how it is truly a well-designed, engaging, and purpose built car.
If this wagon works out I’ll have the fun cheap roadster to rack up cheap miles on and the brutal wagon occasional/day trip car as the two opposite ends of the auto enthusiast spectrum.
Fingers crossed.

It's all locked in
and I'm hopefully picking up the car on Saturday
. Will post pics and first ownership impressions.(More emoticons = more excitement)
get rid of those intake spacers and get a proper intake - black boost intakes
Don't be surprised if this car goes up in value in a year as I'm sure the miles will stay low
I will see how many kms I put on it.
In the past when I really liked cars I have driven them a lot. 40k in 2 years on an e92 m3. 60k in 3 years on an RS3. 17.5k in 15 months on the miata. Will do my best to keep them low, though.
