I have a 2016 E63. It has a stage 2 Eurocharged tune, downpipes, BlackBoost intake etc. running on an E50 tune. I have the mod done to wire the intercooler pump to come on all the time. When I park the car in the garage and come out the next morning it will sometimes, not every time, make a loud compression type bang sound. It happens when I open any door. The sound is coming from underneath. It’s like there is compression stored up somewhere and when power is applied to the system something opens and release the compression. I cannot seem to figure it out. The car is not running and is cold. There is only one bang sound, not multiple. There is no flash like a backfire. No smell or smoke. I have no engine DME codes related, No check engine light. I cannot log for it as the vehicle is off. It has never backfired while running our done the same thing running.
The only consistent noise I get in mine is the rear air suspension venting and it happens under your exact same circumstances, mine sounds like an old school ricer blow off valve haha but maybe you have a vent valve that is sticky and making a much louder sound?
One thing I haven't tried is to see if parking it in another suspension setting changes how often it does this, as I believe in Comfort it will lower when parked but then raise again when you drive it. The default rear 'level' is in Sport 1 so it may be least active when left in that setting, might be an easy thing to try for a few days?
Sounds like air suspension as mentioned. Perhaps a bolt is loose and needs to be tightened around the rear airbags or the trunk has the air canister that may be loose

off topic but @PeterUbers with the spar ECU in the trunk.... the mark of a true enthusiast... lol.
