Tire Load for S212 Wagon - SL Vs XL

With winter coming, I managed to find all seasons (Pilot Sport 4s) for my 2015 wagon, but after ordering I realized that the rears 285/30ZR19 94Y SL, as opposed to 285/30ZR19 98Y XL, which seems to be the recommended load.

I'm inclined to return them, even though the load / speed ratings really aren't that different between SL and XL, and given the tire shortage, it would be nice to have something that fits and works for winter (no winter sets are in-stock anywhere.)

Any perspective is appreciated!

I'd say return them, te issue is that you can't inflate them enough in case you are carrying a full car load at some point.
That said - with no tires in stock, may be better off keeping them and not loading car full? Better than driving on summers in the winter, that's for sure.

Thanks. That’s sort of what I’m thinking - I won’t be carrying heavy loads. Occasionally 5 people but not much more than that. But I don’t mind waiting a couple more weeks for the Contis I prefer to come back in stock.

Current: 2018 E63 Selenite Wagon (700hp/850tq) Prior: 2016 E63 Selenite Wagon (670hp/830tq on E30)
Slightly different scenario, but when I put on a dedicated 20" summer setup a few months back, I went with 94Y XL in the front and 95Y XL in the rear out of necessity, down from the OEM 19" specs. Based on the GVWR on the door sticker, I felt the 94 and 95 rating covered what I needed, granted I'm never "fully loaded" and usually car is just me and one family member, max. They withstood a full day onslaught on and around Tail of the Dragon...happy with the decision as the 265 fronts and 295 rears are a perfect fit for me.
