2014 E63 AMG Engine noise

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone had this noise aswell. Its seems to happen in traffic, when the car is in traffic and the start stop is active the car comes back on and the rev is around 900rpm rather then 600rpm for about 10 mins the goes back to normal. The other day i heard this noise couldent tell what it was but after a few minutes it when back to normal

You seem to have an additional "rattly" noise accompanying the usual "ticking" noise these engines produce. Sorry to say that I have no clue what it is. Just wanted to let you know that mine doesn't sound like that. I don't ever use ECO/Engine stop/Start. That's such a waste of time of a feature IMO. I feel it probably runs down your battery and kill your starter more than any measurable amount of gas or climate change you could save.
I hope someone who knows what this noise could be chimes in.

Really hard to tell from the audio. I'm assuming it's kind of that higher pitch chaffing noise besides the injectors?

The thing that i can’t understand is that its only there for a few minutes and then its back to normal. So I assume if its mechanical it will always be there. I also have a p2099 coming up ones in a while aswell i was told by the dealer to use 95 ron rather then 99 v power and that it will solve the problem and so far it has.

I had a p2099 but it was a bad vacuum line from turbo to transducer

is there a way to permanently turn off the eco on/off switch or is it just something i have to do everytime i drive the car? I personally find it annoying as well and also believe its no good for the car.

What Peter says. I don't even remember the last time I drove the car in C... the rear of your car is extra tall and the tranny tends to rarely know what gear you need. Save yourself a few bucks and develop a new healthy habit! Switch to S/S+ right after you start the car!

Yes, you can use Vlad's module to give it a memory function. That is- if it was off when you stopped the car, it's off when you start and the other way around.

I personally do like to drive in C in traffic, just a softer and more relaxing drive.

Adding sprintbooster years ago made C mode much more enjoyable

it is called last mode, the car remember the last mode you enabled before turning off the engine,
you can code also the vgs trany module to enable the last mode so when starting the car it remember the last mode s or s+ you enabled before turning off the engine.
