Rear wheel noise - 2010 E63
I'm hoping someone can lead me down the correct path. I'm getting a "growling" noise coming from the rear which changes on speed. My initial thought was wheel bearings. Normally I would just replace them because the car has 123k miles. However, after watching a video on replacing the bearings and seeing how long it takes, I wanted to be sure this was the issue.
My question; Are there any indications of the CV axles and/or differential having issues? Or figuring out if it's bearings, axles, or differential.... hope this question makes sense.

See if the noise changes on road surface. Noise changing with vehicle speed is an indicator of something in the driveline, bearings, differential, tires, etc.. If the noise changes on changing road surface, that points to the tires.
Good luck
