Vibration at idle after resonator delete?
2014 e63 s, Is it normal or has anyone experienced more vibration at idle after having done any exhaust work? The resonator was removed a couple days ago and now when I’m sitting at idle I feel small vibration through steering wheel and chassis of the car. My cell phone holder now shakes and vibrates when it never did before. All other exhaust is stock, cats and mufflers.

Sounds like you replaced the resonator with straight pipes - Ive heard similar complaints when others did that, but it is rare when a crossover is used since they balance exhaust pulses. Did an H pipe crossover on mine when replacing the resonator (which itself has a H crossover tube as well) and didnt have any new vibrations.

Yes it is just straight pipes. Do you think it is because of the actual purses of the exhaust or because the pipes are now floating and not supported together like they originally were with the resonator? I may try adding a bracket to tie both pipes back together and see if that makes a difference. I looked at the entire exhaust and nothing is touching or loose.
