14 E63 AMG S Motor Mounts
MB just quoted me $2460 bucks to do the motor mounts on my 14 E63 S. They basically said they were leaking. Do I bite the bullet or attempt this repair at an indy shop?
I've seen Kenneys video of getting it done without dropping the subframe and motor. Dropped it off for a simple B service to get rail roaded at the end of the day isnt fun.
Thoughts?

I'd do it myself, or an indie. No way I'd pay 2400! They quoted me 1800 two years ago and said they were all "collapsed". They were not. Sure they were near of life, but two years year later they're still good.
Just be wary of aftermarket mounts, or I should say VRP, which I tried a couple months ago and it's still an ongoing mess:

Yeah its still smooth as glass with no rattle. Motor mounts gotta be super noticeable if they're completely fried you would think. It's 5.5L V8 so it's got some rumble, but nothing more than it's had since I bought it in January 2023. What should I look for if they start to go?
FCP euro has both mounts for $416 bucks and my mechanic friend after watching Kenneys video said he can do it.

Pop the hood and power brake in D and R to see how much the eng moves. There are you tube vids showing before/after on Benz.
They can also vibrate at idle, and at speed when they get bad.
