Went from E63 to this...

Oil got into the wiring harness...long story short, I went to the dark side and got a Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 manual.
Big change from sedan to a low...really low coupe.
I'm still getting used to it, but overall, love the car and everyday drivability.
Complete absence of big screens, manual, and buttons for everything were a huge plus.
What do you guys think?

Compared to the Ecars of today, the AMG is now the light weight car.

Can you elaborate on what happened w/ the E63 after the oil leak? I always thought that the cam position sensor issue got resolved around 2013 or so.... So I figured newer cars would be safe?

The short answer is a no; the cam positioning sensors' oil leak was never fixed on M157.
Perhaps you are referring to the headbolt issue that was fixed around that time on M156?
