I just replaced the driver side lower control arm due to the normal issues. Replaced it with the aftermarket version and got an alignment. My camber is off and they showed that the bolt that attaches the arm to the subframe has basically 2 positions. I know when I re-installed the bolt, I put in the same position as before and that should be the position to increase the negative camber I’m seeing. What I’m asking is, does anyone know how much of an adjustment it makes to move the orientation of said bolt? I’m at -4 degrees right now and I’m wondering if I have to change something else to get it back in spec. (2014 e63s wagon)
Is it me or your new "cross strut" is longer than your OEM?
-4° of camber is a bit nuts. Sorry I don't have the answer you are looking for. But, FWIW, our cars do not come with camber adjustment. All they do during alignment with OE hardware is adjust TOE.

pic of new control arm for fun.
i think he has the correct part - image looks weird due to perspective on the bolt end
As for the camber correction bolts, I just had an alignment done yesterday and you can adjust camber to a limited point.
My right side camber was - 1.53'. With this bolt, I was able to reduce it by .13' to - 1.4'
The install was done in 5 minutes.
Yes, the bolt wasn't fully seated when I took the pic.
Just to make it ease for people to get their own parts. I remember ordering mine through MB dealership websites and... "of course!" they never specified if driver's and passenger's side was the same.
As a bonus question... then, why is OP's alignment off by so much?
I just did this too and alignment didn't change at all.

Reason is there is no longer Front Camber and Caster or Rear Camber adjustment !
New car industries best kept secret. The often quoted reassuring will carry out a “Full Front & Rear ‘4’ Wheel alignment - is now only basic TOE “directional” adjustment.
Because of the ever increasing speed of new car assembly lines - stopping to adjust camber and caster is no longer an option.
It is now factory set to suit showroom height conditions.
Putting onus back on owners to fund Costly, Premature tire replacement.
Encountered in day to day commuting - high cambered roads with excess passenger side edge wear, Wheel squat through full passenger loads or lowering of vehicle height, fitting wide profile tires - no longer ongoing adjustment or to resolve curb knock damage.
We saw the need therefore to manufacture Bolt-On front and rear kits to resolve the situation to fix it right the 1st. Time - Specially designed so no special tools or need to remove control arms to install.
Serious adjustment - not fluted OEM bolts providing inaccurate one offset position and minuscule 0.3 degree change. K-MAC it is 2 degrees Positive or Negative !
AND ULTIMATE Adjustment - Precise “single wrench” direct on alignment rack UNDER LOAD.
