W212 e63s m157 thermostat has oil and water mixed


i have a w212 e63s 2014 the thermostat was replaced 2 years ago working on the car to change a oil thermostat cover had to take the thermostat off and i would that in that but i havent lost any coolant i will do a gaskit pressure test omce in put everything back but has someone had this issues ? Engine has no water and oil miximg up loos normal
