Diffuser part #
So has anybody had to replace the rear diffuser? Mine took a minor bump but enough to break one of the mounting brackets off. I removed the assembly far enough to get a look at the backside but can't find a part # anywhere in plain view. There are some support brackets held in place by aluminum rivets that are probably blocking the view but I don't want to start drilling them out until I know I can replace everything. I looked through My xentry but didn't see anything that might show a parts diagram with #'s. Can somebody point Me the correct direction if xentry has that info?

Presuming you have a sedan - they sell OEM and aftermarket valence/diffusers

Yeah I have a wagon and can't confirm that the same part is used. The MBparts sites say that # doesn't fit but I can't find a different #.

There's My confusion. The classic MBparts site shows it's the same part but the "confirm the fit" years is for 2008 and older. Heh. I gotta call them and get the mounting brackets and wierd rivets that hold it all together. Thanks again for the ideas.

By the way when I go to any Benz parts website and click "exterior" parts - it doesn't work - it says I need to be less specific even though I'm clicking on the subcategory of exterior parts -> bumper parts ... lol what a joke
