Went and test drove the car. Its nice, all the options (designo, heated rear seats, b&o audio, folding mirrors etc.) but has alot of cosmetic issues some missing carbon pieces on the outside and clear coat pealing on the carbon parts of the front and rear bumper. They want around $43k, waiting to see if they come back to me with a reasonable price given the condition.

i sure hope you're gunna get a presidential level PPI on this wagon ... I suspect you'll find some interesting stuff that'll turn you away from this purchase - $0.02
the exterior of a nice car like this says a lot about how the drivetrain was cared for sometimes ...

And they admit that? That kind of bait-n-switch may violate consumer laws where you are at if they fail to disclose the extra charges in their advertisement. Regardless, how can you trust ANYTHING they tell you now? Definitely get an independent PPI or walk away.
By the way, do you do your own maintenance and repairs?

Yeah that is crazy, no legitimate dealership does that, $500-$1,000 DOC fee? Sure, but $4K in dealer add-ons is crazy.

Ha ha ha ha ha!!!! Years ago a Ford Dealership near Chicago would seriously throw your car keys on the roof and then say you HAD to buy the car if you wanted to get home, no one could get your keys! So, if you fought they would "demo" you the new car over night (or what ever) and then say they would have the keys the next day.
Same dealership would also install a stupid engine cut off thing (if you did or did not want it) and charge $500 for it (this was in the 80's and 90's).
