I have been getting a ton of DM and messages in regards to my updates. Although this was done months ago (APRIL ) I failed to update the forums and forget not everyone sees my instagram posts. So a quick recap, my goal was to
beat my previous PB, but not only being a one time stars aligned type of number that can’t be replicated within 3 tenths of what your PB would be. So i needed to build not only a fast setup but a reliable consistent setup, one that would allow me to run these times with full interior on the street not needing to run 17” rear wheels with big slicks but being able to attain with the same wheel and tire setup that I’d use daily on the street. Now I will say a lot of the parts on my build aren’t necessarily needed to attain these times but I do believe they allow me more consistent times with much less stress. We are attaining these times without E85 , we are attaining these times with race gas and meth having a standard xdi pump upgrade giving us more room if needed in our fuel system, with using only 58-62% waste gate duty cycle. I spent time finding the max efficiency in this platform, not just throwing an aggressive tune at her that ends with high intake temps , maxed out injectors and extremely high back pressure. I’m excited to see what she can do at the track stripped interior. Track dedicated wheel and tire setup, and a more aggressive tune. She’s not even running over 16 degrees of timing. Thank you for those that followed my build and continue to support my efforts in bringing the m157 to new realms. It’s not hard to guess what my quarter mile times will be or is. I’m choosing for now to keep this ti myself with just a few friends knowing. I’m deciding if i should take her down to Texas 2k and surprise many . After this next one if I don’t go for whatever reason I will post it up. All I can say is she is such a fun daily, shocking many with a family sedan that other then the E63R badge looks like just a nice amg, pretty and clean 😂. I’m also extremely impressed by how the 722.9 trans has been responding and holding up after learning how to actually build it to hold power and maintain clutch pressure. I wanna thank 5soko for his constant support and my many different attempts to figure out how to get a launch going from 2nd gear lol. Yea that’s a teaser. Also @jerry eurocharged. There’s no doubt that we have brought the tuning bar for the m157 even higher. Clean runs with not so much of a misfire or cylinder knock, having the fuel
tables so dialed in that we can run without meth. We are happy to report we are the first and only w212 m157 to hit 4.9 PB 60-130 with a consistent 5.1-5.3 daily as my original goal of consistency
