E63S
I've done research on these cars but I guess no better people other than people who already have them. I'm looking to purchase a 2014-2016 e63S and just really need to know if any of you daily drive these? I currently have a E65 BMW I've had it for 12 years and just about 200,000 miles on it. I don't drive everyday sometimes just a few time a week for medium distances I really like the body lines on these cars but more the post facelift cars. I do take road trips every so often maybe about 400 miles round trip once of twice a year. I guess really looking for your opinion also if after having to car for as long as you've had it would you purchase it again? Thanks for any information you can provide.

The biggest things that bit me over the last two years were:
- Oil in the harness (8 new sensors, pigtails, and luck that the ECU and other sensors were OK -- $500)
- Failed driver-side turbo coolant lines (water pump and thermostat changed too, since I was in there -- tow, $1500 + a weekend of work)
- Engine mounts were bad, but I didn't HAVE to change them... but what's the point of not doing that on this car? (went billet-poly for reliability and had a shop do it - $2700)
- Brakes - rotors still in spec, so I haven't changed those yet... $200 for pads
- Front control arms - $150
So, if you're not doing it yourself and not aggressively on top of maintenance... maybe don't.
If you do this stuff yourself and keep it in a garage -- 1000% worth it. It puts a smile on my face every day!
...and the real money is spent on upgrades/tunes because I love this thing so much
