Ok, all done. Since the warranty snafu took up a bit of time, it then took a minute for the car to get on the rack with a preferred tech. Car was done Monday, picked up on Tuesday and thought the coolant temp was a bit off so I went back and dropped it off yesterday. I live close by and feel comfortable to where they were super busy but I just walked in and gave them my keys and asked them to check if there was an issue. This is in the Coolant temp thread I just posted.
Dealer was great to work with. I have a spare car, could have had Fidelity pay for rental but there was really no need for that.
Fidelity was great to work with. When the dealer did the supplemental request it was approved instantly by phone.
All in there was a 100 dollar deductible, I bought one new underbody fuzzy covering, and paid one hour for the cleaning of the valves (at $229)
Repairs done were:
1. "oil control valve and wiring harness adapter"'. this is the little harness that connect to the valve inside the oil pan and pokes through to the engine harness connection at the front of the engine. Part 10.5, labor 3,219.86
2. Coolant line to firewall. This is actually the coupling in the back of engine. New coolant needed. Parts 61.9, Labor 2,299.9
3. Right rear axle seal. Part 29.5, Labor 666.97
4. Rear input seal for pinion. Interestingly this started leaking while on the rack. Parts 123.5, Labor 436.98
5. Oil cooler seals and temperature regulator seal. Parts 70.9, Labor 459.98
Alignment included.
Some items like oil, diff oil, gasket were not listed. I kinda think they had a budget and got it all done and didnt care much about the details on my invoice, and they will rectify as needed with Fidelity.
So, Im super happy that this series of repairs that had total parts of 576 and labor of 7,313 and I only paid 100. Honestly it was less expensive than I would have thought.
Id recommend Fidelity Platinum Plan to anyone.
Lastly, I dealt with Mercedes of Hunt Valley in Cockeysville Maryland. Both the Service Manager Joe and my Service Advisor James were great to work with. I brought a big bag of fresh bagels and cream cheese for the crew and left a gift card for James as well to a breakfast joint. I find those small tokens go a long way in ensuring smooth transactions.
Happy to answer any questions.
editing to say yes I know it is more than $100 when you factor in the warranty but I’ve used it other times as well and I’m a few thousand dollars ahead at least and could have used it much more than I have.

I got a Fidelity Platinum Plan for my daughter's 2018 Honda CR-V from Trenton at @Highline-Autos.com when we bought the car a couple of years ago. Recently I took it into the dealership because she was getting intermittent CELs, as well as an A/C that stopped working. Turned out the CELs were caused by 3 out of 4 bad injectors. (How does that happen?) Fidelity covered it all except the $100 co-pay, about $1700. Not quite the same as your job, but was happy to have had it.
The A/C was covered by a Honda extended warranty. Apparently, there was a batch of A/C units with bad compressor seals and Honda extended their coverage for 10 years and unlimited mileage. I had hooked up my A/C gauges to check the pressures and both high and low side were at about 9 psi, so basically no refrigerant.

Anyone have good options for Extended Warranty through a different company?
I was notified today that Fidelity is no longer covering anything older than 2020 on E63's
