w212 E63- 2011 6.2 - stinks of petrol and km to miles issue
Hi Guys
i couple of questions for my car and i wonder if you can advice.
1st issue, i swapped the speedometer dial from km to miles using an orginal mph guage only the back guage panel not the entire speedo, i assumed the placement of the numbers would be accordingly so it would show the right speed. it turns out its not and yes it couldnt be as the top centre on my km dial is 160 and the top centre of the miles dial is 80, i used the digital system to check this and yes the km dial is definitely off as per, im wondering if there would be a cog i need to swap in the speedo to reflect the movement of the needle? can you please advice ?
2nd issue. The car stinks of petrol to the point its smells outside and inside. this morning it even did a multi turn over before start like it was priming up. im suspecting a fuel leak somewhere now. any advice please.
