So decided to finally pull the trigger on tuning the car. Decided to go with Weistec Stage 1. Tried doing as much research into other tunes but in the end, Weistec was the choice, one; mainly due to it being 50 state legal with a CARB number, two; they are local to me in California and three, up to 166 HP and 246 TQ (Crank numbers). SOO while doing research, didnt see too many reviews/complaints on them, decided to giving them a shot. I know the their numbers posted are on a CLS63 and preface lift E63 rwd. I wanted to see what numbers, give or take, this tune really puts down. For reference, my car has just shy of 80k miles, its due for my next oil change which I do every 5k, and plugs. I did a baseline dyno at a local shop on their mustang dyno. They mostly due Audi/VW tuning but was looking to get a baseline. Anyways, car put down 482 whp and 555 wtq. It also prints out an estimate crank dyno as well which showed it at 579 hp and 667 tq. Anywho, went down to Weistec, Ryan was excellent there with all his help, got the car tuned. Car feels amazing, night and day difference. Butt dyno always wins haha. I have an appointment to go back to get it dynoed in a week or so after I do my service, replace the plugs, and we shall see what numbers she puts down with their tune.
