The worry for Americans is a ban on German cars. That color, I think it's Pallidium gray looks great on the new AMG, I'm thinking maybe I shoulda ordered that than the cardinal Red. Too late now I guess, although my car is not going to be built until September, maybe I still could change the color Tempting to try, really like that Pallidium gray on the car. The red might be a little too bright and may get tired of it.

I agree get the grey over the red. I also really like how the car looks in black with the black wheels and the night package, really aggressive.

Just received an email confirmation from my dealer for production date of my wagon

I am in Toronto, Canada.

-SOP: Sep 11, 2017
-Delivery: estimated to be last week of October 2017 (pending on the logistics from port to dealer)

Wow so basically it's taking until winter and November 2017 to receive this car.

Also, each dealer in Canada is given just one wagon per month during the early going, therefore, if you are in the 4/5/6 or so in line, you are basically looking at spring to summer 2018, by then MY2019 would be just around the corner for ordering, assuming the book is to open around June 2018 for MY2019

So my E63s which arrived in Halifax on the 24th of May and takes 2 days from there to get to Toronto where I live is now supposed to be delivered on June 17... I think it's Mercedes best guess as to when the government finishes with their mandatory delay commerce process. Hard time fighting criminals but lots of resources to interfere with businesses and their customers.

I have not really heard much of anything as far as deliveries for here in the USA States Either, I'd assumed deliveries would be full under way by now but I guess things were delayed here too. I know even with the E400 Wagons some of them came in as late back as last December and Sat in Port for 4 months awaiting certification and were not available until april. Anybody in the States hear when the first ones will be released here? I asked the Salesman at the dealer but he said they had none on Order, I find that hard to believe, he did say they had 3 AMG Wagons on order including mine and deliver was as late as next January on those. Glad I did not sell my 2012 AMG wagon yet.

The big question is when the process(certification) got started for the US cars. I dont know of anyone with US build date before June or US bound cars sitting in port. Please correct me if I am wrong. I reserved the second of 2 alotted to the dealer and have June build. I was told that MB-AMG built a group of vehicles (non special order) which will hit preferred dealer showrooms. Sounds like they could not be reserved and may go for a premium. I imagine these cars may already be sitting at port in the US.

Thanks for posting all the pictures AMG MB, beautiful car, I like it so much in that color that I changed my order from the Red to the Selinite Grey Metallic today, it was no problem since my build is so far out, got approved with no other changes. My car will have the same nut brown interior as yours although it will have the Magnolia wood instead of the carbon fiber and gloss black center console, I debated on changing that as I did order the carbon fiber rear view mirror covers and thought maybe having it matching would be good, but I stuck with the gloss black as I like that as it is in my 2012 AMG. I did not order the night package or the black wheels, getting the silver forged 20 inch wheels, so the car will look different from yours. I dunno how anybody can say this car is not aggressive enough, the front end to me looks very aggressive with the huge air intakes on either side for the intercoolers, ya, the back end is not all that fancy, but who cares, if you want that you get the AMG GT, this car is a luxury super car sedan/wagon cruiser and I think MB did a great job with it.

True., but i do find that the CLS63 still offers 4 doors like the E, plus very aggressive looking in both rear/front. This is why im going to wait to see how the new one looks, will probably not be a huge change from the facelift w218 though.

Im happy you changed to the grey, i think its much nicer on this car than the red. I would still consider adding the night package. The blacked out bits and especially the black wheels will most definitely make the W213 look more aggressive from all angles, and help with the rear "softness" as well.

AMG MB, what are your impressions of the car so far? Good I hope. Is there much road noise and wind noise. A couple reviews I read said there was a lot of both. I'm getting the Acoustic package, I'm hoping it's fairly quiet. How about performance and sound?

I think that's selenite grey and not palladium silver. His pics were either enhanced or with a filter maybe that's why you thought so. Either way it looks great!

BTW, anyone got any colors other than red, selenite grey, matte selenite, or matte black? I'm thinking of ordering it in blue but not sure if it will look good or not.

*Edit* I just saw someone saying it's selenite grey and not palladium haha. But thoughts on other colors anyone? I'm having trouble deciding which color to go for...

The hand-built engines are assembled in Affalterbach. The vehicles are assembled on the production line in various plants around the globe. The VIN will indicate which plant and is also listed on the window sticker what the final assembly plant is.

With regards to blue...Cavansite blue is actually a nice looking color. Havent seen in pwrson but check out ebay UK(there is one or two for sale) and Youtube. It may look better without night pack and with silver wheels.
Spoke with SA yest and found out my e63s sedan is produced and on way to port for aasignment to US bound ship. Keeping my fingers crossed for release of the car in the next few weeks so my delivery wont be delayed!!!

Hello,
After having a few black and a few iridium silver MB's, I ordered mine last month in the Diamond Silver Metallic, with the carbon fiber interior and exterior packages, aluminum with grey accent wheels. No night package. I went and looked at some other E43's side by side, and that color looks best to me.
I also am waiting for info pricing and delivery. Dealer says "September" I do not have a build date yet.
