So now that we know the MSRP...
- MSRP $115,000 (assume base + some options)
- Sale Price $106,000 (assume 8% discount, perhaps in 6 mos time? All depends on demand. I got a 5% discount offer from my dealer for Euro delivery without blinking, I am sure I could haggle for better)
- 12k / 57% / 36 mos
- MF 0.0022 (5.28%)
I get a base of $1,525/mo plus you'd have to add sales tax.
AMG lease rates absolutely suck compared to comparable brands (BMW/Audi). On the positive side, they do allow multiple MSDs. If you put 10 MSDs into the E63S as described above, the MF goes down to 0.0015 (3.6%) and monthly drops to $1,404. Of course you've got nearly $15k locked up for the duration of the lease if you do this.
I am contemplating an E63S but I'm going to wait to see how demand shapes up first. I am leaning towards financing simply to avoid MB's ridiculous lease interest rate, which adds hundreds of dollars per month to the lease price.
That sound pretty close to what I'm getting. Most of the frou frou carbon fiber stuff doesn't interest me, and 9K on brakes is ridiculous IMO.
But anyways, now I've just got to time it to a 6-9 month window to negotiate MSRP down. I've got friends at dealerships. Just a matter of getting the right one.

I assume most everyone in here doesn't pay MSRP.
Mainly posted the sheet so others could see the pricing for the various options as the build button on the mbusa site is not yet active.
If enough people post their info we will eventually be able to develop a complete list.

Also, have you seen the difference between the stock lighting system and the Advanced system? I can't seem to tell a difference look wise. I know it does the curved lights and stuff, but wondering if there is any difference in terms of aesthetic.
No, I haven't seen the difference.
All the cars I've seen in person have been the European spec - at least I'm assuming the Edition 1 at the LA auto show last year was a European model.
The only other car I've seen in person was at a dealer in Geneva in May. It's price as optioned was 171 CHF as I recall, but I don't remember all the options.
Also, I decided against the ceramic brakes even though I will have the car on my local track from time to time- I just don't think I will push it in the corners to warrant those, but maybe I should reconsider. Just want to pick your brain for the reasons on those choices.
Any help would be appreciated.
I picked the 115 VAC outlet because that way I can power small devices that need AC should the need arise. We use the outlet in our min-van from time to time on trips as my daughters are charging their laptops or what have you. We will be taking delivery of the car in Europe and vacationing for a couple weeks. So I imagined that we'll be charging my GoPro, SLR, laptops, etc. at some point as we'll be spending a lot of time in the car.
I debated the brakes a lot. I didn't know the price exactly, but had a ball park idea.
My daily drive to work is 5 miles so they won't get much of a work out doing that. Further, my understanding is that they don't bite initially as hard as conventional brakes till warmed up. So -1 for daily use. But, in California, I do live near some very nice mountain roads, one of which I used to hit every weekend on my various motorcycles and which can be driven quite hard. The brakes will definitely get warmed up there.
The question was will they get hot enough that conventional brakes would start to fade. Probably not unless I make repeated runs. But in the hopes that they would have better bite and be more consistent I figured +1.
So still 50/50 at this point.
I do live about an hour and a half from California Speedway and four hours from Willow Springs, and six hours (on a good day through LA) from Buttonwillow.
I used to race motorcycles at these tracks and each of them have track days for cars and while I probably won't make it a regular thing, I could imagine taking the car out sometime if for no other reason than being able to open it up fully down the front straight (it isn't really straight, but rather a banked curve) at the California Speedway.
Also, I plan on keeping the car for a long time as I do most of my vehicles, so that and the above tipped the balance to deciding to go ahead and chose the brake option.
I do know that 99% of the time, or perhaps more, I would have been perfectly happy with the standard brakes.
Good luck and enjoy

There is only 6% from MSRP to dealer invoice anyways and then a variable of holdback percentages behind the invoice dependant on the dealer volume sales. I can't see anyone walking in and grabbing one for that type of discount until the cars are picking up dust or supply clearly exceeds demand; and that will come at some point like it does for almost every AMG.

One thing I always make sure is to get a car that has my "must haves" and because I don't order I get it faster and better pricing. The cars that generally make more sense to order due to their option tallies is Porsche cars. That is the one marquee that has a ginormous addendum and you can really custom build the car especially the interiors.
