2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
LOl, ya, good things don't come cheap. I hope they get the Wagon build up soon as I'd like to see exactly how my car will look, I can sort of picture of it from the Sedan. I'm getting the Cardinal Red with the Silver Forged wheels, but the best thing is gonna be that Magnolia wood in contrast to the nut brown interior. This is the kind of car I can take to car cruise nights which should be fun. Miss that with my Old '68 Pontiac. The new wagon is difinately gonna turn some heads.

I only have one kidney.
The build price on the website matches the invoice price for my car, so it worked out the same as what my dealer and I did a few months ago.
Counting the days till I fly over to Germany to pick it up

You are in for a treat! I just came back from taking delivery of my E63 S last week. What a great experience. MB takes great care of you. Oh, the car is pretty awesome too.

Were you promised anything about the fact your car wouldn't just be delivered stateside to sit at port?

My current car is an E90 (2009) BMW M3 sedan, so that is my source of comparison. In Comfort the E63 rides a little smoother, and much quieter (I got the acoustic comfort package) than the M3 on its softest setting. That's not saying all that much as the M3 is stiffly sprung. There's no thud, thud over every bump, but it is not a cream puff by any stretch. That all said, after reading reviews and internet anxiety, I was pleasantly relieved by the ride quality in Comfort.
Sport is stiff, in Sport + you feel everything.

Looking at $114,850 for my build MSRP wise. If I can get that down to $104,000, I'll pull the trigger. Covers tax & stuff.

That said, if you go the European delivery route, that's an automatic 5% discount, plus you save $990 in delivery charges. As these vehicles don't come out of the dealer's allotment, you might find them more willing to deal going that route.
Of course you still have to spend some $$ getting to Europe to pick up the car, but if you're planning a vacation you can discount the travel expenses and add the savings of not having a rental car

A 5% discount might not be too hard to get, but not sure you'll find getting 9% that easy. Dealers are expecting some pent up demand and won't be anxious to discount this early.
