In July I ordered an E 63 s wagon, the dealer says it should be delivered in January or February both Perelli and Michelin's website say it will void the warranty if I drive there summer tires in cold weather I live in New Jersey and want to know what anybody else was doing about this problem.

I was thinking of taking the European delivery option but that doesn't help my tire problem.

My dealer in Canada has sent me the factory winter tires and rims combo. They are 19 inch and can be either Michelin pa4 or conti ts 830p. This package sells for nearly $5800 Cdn + 13% taxes.

I am also currently shopping for aftermarket wheels (as an alternative to the dealer's choice) and found 2 wheels to my liking but will likely require a 10mm spacers in the front . The wheels are rohana rf2 (flow form wheel) and neuspeed rse102 (flow form wheel). Both weigh around 22lbs each. Tpms would be required too.

I plan on just putting winters on the OEM 20 inch rims and picking up a nice set of 21/22 inch ADV1s for summer

Not a fan of having ****ty rims on a car at any point of the year

Could you share the size/details for the factory winter tire and rim combo your dealer provided to you? My US dealer has been trying to figure out a 2nd winter set of tires and rims for my order too but has been unsuccessful thus far.

As you can see on the pic, this is the same wheel & tire format being used in Europe. My dealer does not know whether there will be another choice, say 20 inch for the car. 19 inch is already pricey enough. 20 inch will require selling some of my blood and/or organs. LOL.
