No mentioning of how much drop it can do with this module. If you can wait, then there should be other brands out there with pretty well the same kind of lowering module.

"The E63s only uses air suspension in the rear so the module would only lower the rear of the car. Therefore it would not be a good solution."

there are no literature out there to suggest E63s has air at the rear ONLY. Does not make sense at all, esp. how can a $100K car has two different suspension setup.

The W212 E63 had air suspension in the rear and traditional coil and strut in the front.

Those lowering modules are a PITA to install they will splice into to factory harness for the airmatic computer.
Just wait for a bit and lowering links will be available soon.
The ride height can also be adjusted via the STAR DAS computer.

Im lowering mine the day I get it (if my tech is open) and he can just manually go under the car and do that. He did the same on my last few Air cars.

Yes in all modes but Comfort, the car is dropped the amount you stated. In comfort mode the car drops the .6 of an inch once a certain speed is reached.

Ah nice one. I was debating ED1 vs my normal spec. Both were similarly priced, but I settled for the normal car. Comes in at the end of the month, been waiting almost half a year now!

I still think the car will sit high enough for almost all situations and Im hoping the ABC doesnt get anymore taut. Either way, the lowering process is easily reversed vs a spring or coilover swap.

Check out Renntech's new solution for this car. As shardul mentioned, for the W212 platform, the install of the Renntech DLM was 'something'. The new one for this w213 is super simple....ODBII interface. Looks great.
