Acoustic/comfort package windshield and tollpass
Well apparently it doesn't work... it blocks the signal. We had to wave it outside of the car!

We have EZ Pass in Houston, when I had my 15' S550 it had the same cutouts in the windshield and the sticker never worked. They offer a License Plate version of the EZ Pass that would bolt onto the top of the front plate using the top screw holes. Since I NEVER run a front plate, I plastic tie-wrapped the unit behind the front grill and it worked perfect. I am ordering a 18' S560 and plan on doing the same thing.

Mine worked from the inside here in Orange County, CA.... Must be the level of the transponder.

seems to work right near the base of the middle of the windshield about an inch up.

Dammit... I was wondering about that. Not 100% sure I'll get LIDAR system, but since all tolls in NY-area are now automatic (no booths) I have to run the EZ pass... I never put the front plate on the '14, but might need to do so this time around.

was traveling from pa to nj. It didn't detect the transponder the whole trip. The sign would show "No ezpass, toll unpaid" when I got in a rental on my way back the same transponder worked perfectly.

Which one of the two spots did you have the ez-pass mounted to? I have mine up on the side of rear view mirror, haven't gone through the tolls yet with the car though.

The lower spot is what I have used for the 15 & 16 S550s my parents have and it works fine in the location. Wonder if the battery is getting low in the transponder perhaps.
