Measuring and Monitoring oil level - E63

Does our engine come with a dip stick ? I was looking under the hood and cannot find it. I then check the owners manual (just the generic one that has a picture shows where the dip stick is ought to be but has no mentioning of whether this is applicable to non AMG engine).

If our AMG engine does not have a dip stick, then where do we find this function in our car's multimedia menu ?

No dipstick on our cars. You have to scroll to a menu on the left side of steering wheel using touch pad and from there you can scroll into the subsection where oil level is located. I forget what the menu is called where the oil level is. May be either maintenance or system off the top of my head, sorry.

Go to the home button on your steering wheel on the left side. Hit the home. A row of screens will come up going across, performance, etc. Go to Service, click on that, scroll down you will see Coolant, Oil level, tire pressure and next oil change there. It shows a bar graph of the oil level, it should be on Max. Make sure the car is on level ground when you push it. I did on a hill once and it showed low.

Also to add that when the car is new they will always slightly overfill it.
