I just received my HRE 935 FMR 2-piece wheels today after a 2 month wait. It was a hard choice picking out which wheels to get, but I went with my first choice. They are 'understated', which goes with the sleeper feel of the car, and the turbofan wheel design pure old-school Mercedes.
Hey Gents - Just finalized the deal with Euro Motors in Bethesda yesterday on my R8 trade in and got to take this beast home. Full wrap (sans trunk lid due to peeling), with a full PPF.
2018. 23k on the clock.
First order of business is to get some privacy on my windows and touch up the wrap. Will update when I get that sorted.
Is it bad to say that I'm not even thinking missing my R8 at all
Im sorry but that front looks atrocious.
Completely ruined the factory look.
Body of e63 is nowhere aggressive enough to support those oversized CF vents and lip. Panamericana grill reeks chinese aftermarket parts.
sometimes less is better.
Some could argue the CF makes the car look more aggressive. I love my E63S and see others often. I went with a similar forged carbon setup and love that it makes the car look more aggressive.
Similar comparison to a RSQ7 and a URUS. Both look fast but Urus def looks more sleek and aggressive IMO.
Not to mention non-car people stop me daily to talk about the CF. Say all that to say think atrocious is a bit dramatic but if it isn't your style thats completely understandable.

I personally love the CF front setup. But do prefer the stock front grill much more as above.

LOL this is a proper 1000hp E63s build with over $35k in mods alone… calling it "reeks Chinese aftermarket" from someone who just bought a (?salvage title?) W213 bc it finally depreciated into his/her price bracket, is beyond laughable to me.

@DKCRE , what model HRE wheels are those, and did you get them in a custom offset? Mind sending some close-ups of the wheels? They look fantastic.
EDIT: Nevermind, I stalked your profile and found your earlier post... HRE P101 20” 9.5” front and 10.5” rear. Factory tire sizes. Would still love a couple of close-ups!
