I have now had my new '23 e53 for 4 days and love it. Quick question: the one thing I do not like are the chrome door handles. Does anyone have any recommendations? I saw some carbon fiber covers on ebay, but do not want cheap junk.

I would have loved a 63, but wanted new over used (I really like the MBUX and touchscreen). I thought I would have an issue with the power, but so far it has not disappointed.

I didn´t want to go “full send” so we got a little bit stuck. (“Snow” dialed in, but I figure that we would have made it with “everything off” and full power, but I figured it wasn´t worth it with my family in the car )

Prepped in a way that we can bring the skis, but also 4-wheel drive . (I´ve seen the clip från the caos you have had in certain parts of the US this winter. We don´t have that so no worries.)
The car is equipped whit factory standard michelin alpine studdles tires. They are not optimal in sweden where I live since they are made for central Europe. On the plus-side there is that they are rated for high speed (150mph)Dialing in the snow symbol the car cuts a lot of the power to avoid any slipping. The problem vi had was that the car was starting to move a lot sideways in both directions because of the loose surface. I think therefore the power was cut even mot until we basically came to a complete halt. After that we where stuck and it took 10 minutes of digging. With better tires and/or putting the car in a mode where slipping of the tires is allowed could probably saved us those 10 minutes 😊 But it was no big deal.
